MISSION
Because we are a part of the body of Christ and are called to use our unique gifts and talents for the benefit of the Kingdom, as The Mount Lay Counseling Ministry, it is our belief that a key component as a place of worship, is to provide effective care, counsel and comfort to those in need. We are concerned about God’s people.
COUNSELING SERVICES
The Partners of the Mount are provided free counseling services by the Lay Counseling Ministry and will be given access to all of the services and care that they have come to expect from Pastor and Elder. Multiple Lay Counselors are available to serve you. We adhere to a strong privacy standard and your information is treated with the strictest confidentiality in mind.
The basic areas of counseling include:
- Family Counseling
- Marital Counseling
- Singles Counseling
- Addictive Lifestyle Change
- Single Parenting Support
Partners can expect meaningful 1 hour sessions allowing for 1 to 3 visits before a re-evaluation. At re-evaluation we can determine the need for additional sessions or recommend professional care at one of our select community partners.
