Scheduling Policy
Appointment Request
When you submit an online scheduling request, please understand that we must confirm your appointment. Until you receive confirmation, no appointment has been made. We attempt to review and approve all request within 48 hours.
Cancellations
Cancellations should be made at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment. Cancellations can be made from the email(s) that you received from Summit’s scheduling system. In each email there is a “Cancel or reschedule this appointment” link. Please use this rather than calling to cancel. Our system is automated and not all of our administrators have access to the scheduling tools.
When we receive cancellations, we attempt to fill that slot with a different Partner. Please be respectful and cancel if you can’t make your appointment. Email reminders are sent 48 hours prior to your appointment time. Repeat offenders will be referred to a community provider.
Children
Summit has no facilities for children, please do not bring children to your sessions unless explicitly instructed to do so by your Lay Counselor.
Office Hours
Please note that the Summit Counseling Center’s office is only open during counseling hours on Tuesday’s from 6-9 pm. Emailing .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) is the best way to communicate with our volunteers. If you have any questions or needs that require immediate attention, please call our administrator, Shevea Hayes at (757) 547-3388.
