COUNSELING SERVICES
The Partners of the Mount are provided counseling services by the Lay Counseling Ministry and will be given access to all of the services and care that they have come to expect from Bishop and Elder. Multiple Lay Counselors are available to serve you. We adhere to a strong privacy standard and your information is treated with the strictest confidentiality in mind.
As of October 1, 2011, we will be moving to a suggested donation structure. Suggested donations go toward supporting the center and expanding the services that we can offer. All Partners will receive services regardless of their donation.
A secure drop box is provided at the front desk. Cash only for now, please. Lay Counselors will not ask you about your donation, please consider the quality of services as you make your donation. Thank you.
The basic areas of counseling include:
- Family Counseling (suggested donation of $20 per session)
- Marital Counseling (suggested donation of $15 per session)
- Singles Counseling (suggested donation of $10 per session)
Partners can expect meaningful 1 hour sessions allowing for 1 to 3 visits before a re-evaluation. At re-evaluation we can determine the need for additional sessions or recommend professional care at one of our select community partners.
The Summit Counseling Center has online scheduling available to our Partners. Online scheduling allows for private and discrete appointment scheduling at your convenience. Scheduling only takes about 3 minutes and you can choose your preferred time, date, and Lay Counselor.
